La maison, récemment restructurée, se trouve dans un domaine de 10.000m2 riche en vignobles et oliveraies. La piscine, en commun avec les propriétaires, est à 20m de la maison. Autour de la maison, un jardin privé bien entretenu. La maison se développe sur 2 niveaux, chacun avec accès direct sur l’extérieur. Ameublement confortable. La position de Casa Lucia permet des vacances en contact avec la nature, dans l’une des régions les plus suggestives de la Toscane. Les fameuses petites villes du Chianti sont facilement accessibles en voiture. Distances: Tavanelle avec magasins variés à 2km, San Gimignano à 20km, Florence (aéroport) à 33km, Sienne à 39km, Pise (aéroport) à 95km, Lucques à 105km. A disposition des hôtes: grand jardin équipé avec table et chaises pour les repas, piscine (avec zone hydromassage) panoramique en commun avec les propriétaires (13 x 6m – prof.: 1,30/2,10m – ouverte du 01/06 au 30/09), douche externe (eau froide) et barbecue en maçonnerie. Parking dans la propriété. Services extra: petit lit bébé (gratuit), aide domestique (€12,-/heure – à payer sur place). Possibilité d’acheter les produits du domaine (vin, “vin santo”, huile d’olive).

We spent five weeks at Casa Lucia from end of May to end of June 2011 and loved every moment of it. The villa is fitted with everything you need, the large pool is great and the view over the valley is stunning, the location very quiet but central, from where we explored to fantastic Chianti region everyday. To come back to this tranquil place after a busy day exploring was always a highlight. Nearby Tavarnelle is a charmning town with all the ameneties you need. My family and I stayed at Casa Lucia last October and we loved it. The views are absolutely incredible, from the house and from the beautiful pool. On a clear day we could see the towers of San Gimignano! The house itself is very comfortable- there are many windows and lots of light, the beds are new, there is plenty of space and the house is very clean. We spent a lot of time just lounging by the pool but it was easy to go into Florence by bus, and we drove to San Gimignano and Siena with no problems. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us some great restaurant recommendations and were always happy to answer our questions. They make olive oil and wine right from their property, make sure to taste some. We highly recommend Casa Lucia, we dream about going back and staying again!
