DESCRIPTION DE LA PROPRIETE: Très bel appartement au dernier étage d’une antique demeure siutée sur la fameuse place “Anfiteatro” de la vieille ville de Lucques. De la fenêtre qui donne directement sur la place, on est aux premières loges pour assister aux évènements qui s’y tiennent régulièrement, comme le marché aux fleurs du 24 au 27 avril, les nombreuses manifestations musicales en juin et juillet et le magnifique spectacle de la place décorée durant les fêtes de fin d’année. L’appartement, à peine restructuré, est meublé de façon très confortable. A proximité, magasins variés. La ville est entourée d’une muraille longue 4,20km qui peut être parcourue à pied ou à bicyclette (location sur place). A quelques kilomètres, les belles plages de la Versilia avec ses restaurants renommés et ses boîtes de nuit mondaines. Connexion Internet Wi-Fi (gratuit). Distances: le centre de Lucques à deux pas, Pise (aéroport) à 20km, Viareggio (plages) à 25km, Florence à 70km, le parc naturel “Cinque Terre” à env. 90km. Services extra: aide domestique (€15,-/heure – à payer sur place).

We loved our time in Lucca and especially loved the apartment. It is newly decorated so it was modern, clean with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. I think the apartment had the best location in town overlooking restaurants and shops in the amphitheatre below. Bruno the owner was so helpful and really made us feel welcome and provided us with map and he gave us advice on where and what to do in Lucca. Photo below of us looking out of apartment window. Anfiteatro 62 was in the ideal location in Lucca right in the centre, so we could walk to everything including public transport. The main bedroom, bathroom and living area were well appointed with nice natural light. The living area had plenty of space for four people with nice touches. The attic bedroom and bathroom were a bit cramped due to the low ceiling. I would not recommend this area for anyone tall as it would be quite annoying.
